BIP/Staff Week 2026 at the University of Wroclaw

Blended Intensive Programme: Wellbeing and work-life balance

It is our pleasure to invite you to take part in our first Blended Intensive Programme/Staff Week (previously International Staff Training Week), which will take place at the University of Wroclaw.

Priority in this BIP will be given to administrative staff of partners from the ARQUS Alliance and administrative staff in general.

 

Practical information:

Number of participants: 25

Week: 20 – 24.04.2026
Online Component: about 2-3 weeks before the week

Requirements for the participants:

  • Good English language proficiency (B2 is welcomed)
  • 2 people per institution (in exceptional situations, please contact Welcome Point)
  • A small task will be required of the accepted participants, like: preparing information about the job position and about the home institution

Confirmation of the acceptance for the participants: 16.02.2026

There is no entry fee. Accommodation and transport to and within Wrocław are covered by the participants. Meals are covered by the participants, unless stated otherwise in the programme.

The Polish-American Fulbright Commission is announcing a call for applications for the Fulbright Specialist Program 2026-27.

We are pleased to announce that the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission is accepting applications for the Fulbright Specialist Program 2026-27 competition. The program enables Polish institutions to invite and establish cooperation with outstanding American specialists and jointly implement a project during a visit to Poland (lasting from 14 to 42 days).

Applications with a project description may be submitted by institutions willing to host a Specialist to conduct or participate in, among other things: lectures, seminars, and workshops; symposiums; conferences; consultations on curriculum development and administrative/research staff development; conducting evaluations and expert assessments; or developing local programs and/or research projects.

Below we present information regarding the doctoral programs offered by the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence.

The EUI is a renowned international university offering four-year doctoral studies in the fields of Social and Political Sciences, Law, Economics, and History. Each year, Poland is allocated 10 places for new doctoral researchers. Successful applicants receive a scholarship for the entire duration of the program (current rate: €1,620 per month), while the studies themselves at the EUI are tuition-free. Scholarship recipients are also covered by medical insurance and can benefit from additional allowances for family members (spouse/partner, child).
